4 bodies found in New York park”

Police believe members of the global gang MS-13 are behind the murders.

"Today marks the beginning of healing for the families and the community", Suffolk County Police Commissioner Tim Sini told Fox News at the time.

Sini said the four were killed in one incident and the murders happened within the last few days-although he declined to release more exact details.

Four accused MS-13 members were arrested last month in connection to three out the 11 total deaths blamed on the gang in 2016. The acquaintance also indicated he knew of the killings because he had been there.

Brentwood and Central Islip are neighboring communities comprised of large populations of working class Hispanic and other minorities, located about 2.5 miles apart.

"He just said, 'I saw your brother dying, and I escaped, '" William Tigre said.

Heat Beat Wizards, Remain in Ninth
For one of the most talented centers in the league, that just won't cut it, not with Dion Waiters out nursing a sprained ankle. That the final two games have meaning - an uncertainty after Friday's 96-94 loss at Toronto - had Spoelstra waxing poetic.

Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the Guardian Angels, told Patch previous year that when thousands of young people were sent to the United States "in many instances to escape the threats of MS-13 and other affiliated gangs, many have settled in the Nassau and Suffolk County area".

The bodies were found just a few miles from where police say MS-13 gang members killed numerous people, including Brentwood High School students Nisa Mickens and Kayla Cuevas a year ago. "It appears they were killed with a sharp or edged instrument", Suffolk Police Commissioner Timothy Sini told reporters yesterday. It's all hands on deck until we solve these murders'.

Tigre's family tells News 12 that he was an honor roll student who sought to distance himself from anyone at school associated with MS-13, but that the gang apparently targeted him anyway. One of the latest victims reportedly left computer messages saying, "I don't want to do these things anymore". Police investigators were working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation on the case.

The discovery comes six weeks after a group of MS-13 gang members were indicted for the murder of two teenagers and a fellow gang member in nearby Brentwood, according to the news site. His relatives told police officers they received a phone call from a friend on Wednesday night informing them Jorge had been hurt at the park.

A day after the victims were discovered, Suffolk County Police offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

It grew after some members were deported to El Salvador, helping to turn that country into one of the most violent places in the world.
