Our First Look At Call of Duty: WWII”

Call Of Duty WWII, which was revealed tonight, could well be that change.

As expected, the game will also have multiplayer and zombie modes.

Call of Duty: WWII was officially revealed today by Activision and Sledgehammer Games, but for the full multiplayer reveal, you'll have to wait for E3 2017, which runs from June 13 to 15 in Los Angeles.

There's been a lot of talk, hype and rumor in the past few days surrounding Call of Duty: Ghosts. The.

Sure, you can be cynical and say that Call Of Duty has copied EA's Battlefield series, which past year transported us back to the Great War, but in all likelihood the makers of Call Of Duty have been planning this for a while. Those diehard fans of Doctor Edward Richtofen and the rest of the gang may be disappointed to learn that the Nazi Zombies mode in WWII heralds a clean slate for Call of Duty's beloved meta-game.

Call of Duty: WWII promises a gripping, emotional return to the franchise's roots in the horrors of the Second World War.

The official trailer showing the latest Call of Duty game and quick snippets of gameplay can be seen below, courtesy of Call of Duty. Joining Allied forces from the United Kingdom and the French Resistance, across the beaches of Normandy, to the liberation of Paris and ultimately into Germany, the squad must fight alongside a global and diverse cast of characters to achieve victory.

It's back to basics for Call of Duty. The new title will do the same, this time enlisting the player in the 1st Infantry Division as Allied forces take the beach at Normandy, then move across France toward Berlin.

Admittedly, while the trailer is indeed using the game's graphics engine (thankfully a more common occurrence in game trailers), the trailer is also only going to show us the good stuff. Also, while Activision was very proud of the game's educational value, it did not take the opportunity to weigh in on the whole debate about whether or not it's good to punch Nazis. The zombie mode is a new co-op experience and it will feature "Nazi Zombies". In addition to customizing their soldier avatars and loadouts, players will be able to join Divisions and mingle with others online in a new social space aptly dubbed the Headquarters.

A Digital Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order, and it includes the Season Pass along with "additional bonus content" for $99.99.
