Kanye West Quits Tidal Due to Debt

Kanye West Quits Tidal Due to Debt”

Additionally, TMZ's report notes that Kanye hasn't been reimbursed for the release of music videos despite TIDAL claiming Kanye didn't hold up his end of the bargain and deliver the agreed number of videos.

According to reports, JAY went at Kanye on 4:44's "Kill Jay-Z" as payback for getting publicly dragged.

So it looks like Blue Ivy and North West are back to not hanging out. West's attorney reached out to the outfit a month ago to talk about the company's breach of contract, and that attempts to effectively come to a resolution lasted for two fruitless weeks.

Rapper Kanye West, one of the founding co-owners of Tidal, reportedly has left that music-streaming service in a contract dispute over money. The source claims he wants to avoid what happened with Tidal, which had a limited window on Tidal before being available on its competitors, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play. Kanye's Life of Pablo album was a short lived exclusive on Tidal, and purportedly brought in 1.5 million new subscribers for which he was supposed to receive a bonus.

TMZ reports that Ye claims that he's owed more than $3 million from Tidal, and that the rapper "has been unhappy with the company for a long time".

The spat with West is not the first Tidal artist relationship to result in legal dispute.

Tidal, for its part, has said that West did not deliver on promised videos, and West has responded by saying that he will do so once he is paid.

On the song, JAY-Z not-so-subtly references Kanye by including his nickname Ye in a couple verses. "You still ain't called me".

Kim and Kayne attended Blue Ivy's birthday this year, and they sent their congratulations when Beyonce gave birth to the twins.

"You walking around like you invincible /You dropped out of school, you lost your principles/I know people backstabbed you, I felt bad too", JAY-Z raps, possibly referencing West's debut album "College Dropout".
