Information compromised at Trump Hotel in Vancouver”

Trump Hotel properties, including Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, have been hit by a credit card breach, affecting reservations made from July 2016 to March 2017. The Trump Hotels' notice echoed Sabre's notice of data breach about the unauthorized access of Sabre Hospitality Solutions SynXis Central Reservation System. The unauthorized access occurred between August 10, 2016 and March 9, 2017. The stolen records included guests' full names and credit-card numbers, expiration dates and security codes, as well as email addresses, phone numbers and home addresses.

"The Sabre SynXis Central Reservations system (CRS) facilitates the booking of hotel reservations made by consumers through hotels, online travel agencies, and similar booking services".

While the situation is murky, to say the least, we can say with confidence that Trump has run afoul of hackers in a much more quotidian way. "The privacy and protection of our guests' information is a matter we take very seriously..."

Others organisations affected by the attack include the Hard Rock Hotels, Loews Hotels and the Four Seasons hotels and resorts. It added that the cyberattack did not affect Trump Hotels' systems.

Andromeda will not get story DLC - anon
Yesterday, a widely shared Facebook post claimed that BioWare had cancelled Mass Effect: Andromeda's downloadable content . The site spoke with three people familiar with BioWare's plans, but the studio has not released any official statements.

Still, that is better than when Trump Hotels learned of a May 2014 breach in June 2015, but did not notify guests until four months later.

Earlier this year, the InterContinental Hotel Group said guests' credit card data had been compromised at more than 1,200 of its properties, including Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotels, over a three month period.

Some customers had their personal information taken from several Trump Hotel locations. We understand that Sabre engaged a leading cybersecurity firm to support its investigation.

Singer posited that the Trump hotel chain was more prone to attack than ever before given President Donald Trump's stature on the national stage and the number of influential targets staying at Trump properties, including lawmakers, lobbyists and foreign dignitaries. In November 2015, an attacker installed malware on 39 systems that affected five Trump hotel properties in a second breach. The hotel confirmed that they were not hacked themselves. "Sabre indicated that they also notified law enforcement and the payment card brands about this incident", added the company.
