Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif Starrer Jagga Jasoos Second Day Collection”

Jagga Jasoos box office collections: Released on July 14, the much-awaited, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos after hitting the theatres managed to earn Rs 8.57 crore in the domestic market on its opening day.

Jagga Jasoos is Ranbir and Katrina Kaif's third film together, after Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and Rajneeti.

First things first, let me stick my neck out and say it right at the onset - Jagga Jasoos is a brilliant film all the way. The film has released on around 1800 screens in key cinemas and multiplexes across the country. The biggest mystery in Jagga's life is the disappearance of Bagchi shortly after he enrolls his son in a boarding school, and the young man spends the rest of the film trying to untie the knots that keep him from his family. Notwithstanding, the film has collected positive input from all around the corner especially from kids. However, the musical thriller's box office earning shot up over the weekend. The film is produced by Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor under the banner Picture Shuru Productions and distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. People are coming out to watch this movie in very good numbers and they are saying the very good word of mouth for the movie.

With the release of Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos, the 3 year long wait is finally over. Apart from this, it is the 4th in Katrina's and Ranbir's combination, out of which 2 were blockbusters.

In the "Jagga Jasoos", Jagga (Ranbir) as a schoolboy gets separated from his father.

On it's second day, Jagga Jasoos showed a good growth of around 30% on it's second day. It also stars Sayani Gupta and Saurabh Shukla. Basu relies heavily on the performance of Ranbir Kapoor again after his wonderful performance in Barfi! and Kapoor does not disappoint.
