Diplomats Fear Trump Is Tweeting the United States into War”

Cryptic remark comes as Pyongyang said to be readying new ICBM testUS President Donald Trump alluded on October 7 to the possibility of a military option against North Korea, arguing that past negotiations have had no effect and stressing that "only one thing will work".

In an interview on the Trinity Broadcasting Network on Saturday evening, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that North Korea's nuclear weapons program should have been taken care of 25 years ago, blaming his predecessors for mishandling the issue.

"Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid. hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of United States negotiators. Sorry, but only one thing will work!" he continued.

While the implication is clearly meant to be something along the lines of a calamitous nuclear war, Trump appeared much more interested in elaborating on what in his opinion hasn't worked than offering any specifics on what the "one thing" is.

Air France flight with engine damage makes emergency landing in Canada
Air France said it is now working to re-route passengers to Los Angeles via the airline's connecting platforms in North America. The plane was about an hour off the coast of Canada when the incident occurred, Miguel Amador, a passenger on the flight, said.

The president has previously said the United States would "totally destroy" North Korea if necessary to protect itself and its allies from Pyongyang's nuclear threats. His latest tweet suggests that Trump is indeed planning something big as he believes that America's 25-year-old policy concerning North Korea has yielded no result.

His tweets sound particularly ominous given his recent rhetoric on North Korea. Trump also emphasized that the USA has a very strong military, and said that now more than ever is the time to have a great military. "It should have been handled during the Obama administration", he added. "Just a total mess", CNN quoted President Trump as saying in an extensive interview. "Maybe it's the calm before the storm". "They also showed the calculations for a more powerful possible capable of reaching the US's Pacific coast", he reported.

Trump accused Iran of supporting that effort. This would provide North Korea with the opportunity to both celebrate an important day on its calendar and interfere with an American holiday weekend.

The president emphasized again that he is "unhappy" with Iran's attitude and the 2015 deal under which Tehran agreed to curb its nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief from USA and other world powers.
