IOS 11.1.1 update now available, includes 'i' autocorrect fix”

It is, however, rare for Apple to acknowledge a problem so quickly, suggesting that cold weather is definitively rendering a subset of iPhone X devices unresponsive.

To fix the issue, you'll have to install the patch, known as iOS 11.1.1., by going to the software update section under the general tab in settings.

The iPhone X went on sale earlier this month and it seems like a hit. I try swiping on websites and it doesn't register my finger.

Admittedly, it might sound like the sort of tongue-in-cheek joke that usually applies to Britain's railways when inclement weather strikes, but it turns out that the new £1,000 iPhone really hates it when there's a chill in the air.

Seldom used 'i' mangled by baffling autocorrect bug in Apple's iOS 11
Reddit user TheCravin also established that by copying the autocorrected text, the paste function corrects the text back to "i". Instantly. To send and receive money with Apple Pay, you must be at least 18 years old and you must live in the United States.

Climbing barred on Australia's famed Uluru rock to 'right historic wrong'
After over 70 years of tourism, Uluru will be off limits for climbers from October 2019, local authorities have confirmed. Figures show only 16 per cent of visitors made the climb during its open times between 2011 and 2015.

That said, the company is still working on a software update that it hopes will tackle the issue altogether.

According to another user responding in the same thread, locking and unlocking the screen fixes this issue, but it still sounds like a nuisance (I haven't experienced anything of the sorts on my iPhone X). Apple recommends operating its iOS devices in temperatures 32 degrees and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. It also appears that the problem isn't consistent, with some having the issue, while others aren't.

After complaints started surfacing that the OLED display of the iPhone X get unresponsive at low temperatures, Apple acknowledged the issue. "After several seconds the screen will become fully responsive again", Apple said in a statement to ZDNet sister site CNET.

This is a relatively small update, so it shouldn't take long for you to download it and rid yourself of these bugs. Most probably, the fix will come in iOS 11.2, which is now under a beta testing.
