"Fallen Kingdom" Writer Shares First Preview

Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World and is writer and executive producer on the sequel, has tweeted a clip of dinosaur trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) getting up close and personal with a baby velociraptor.

The six-second clip doesn't give much away, but, is it just us or does that little raptor look like a young version of Blue from Jurassic World?

Trevorrow posted the first Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom footage to his Twitter account (see the video in the space above), along with the message "From our Jurassic family to yours".

For now, Owen and his cute, purring baby raptor will have to do.

'I would NEVER' call Rocket Man Kim Jong Un 'short and fat'
Also on the trip, Mr Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin several times on the margins of a summit in Vietnam. In the first of three successive tweets Sunday morning, Trump hit back at his critics.

So clearly, there's still ripe excitement for the sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - I mean, it's a film about dinosaurs, so it's extremely hard to not get excited. In addition to Pratt, Jeff Goldblum will reprise his original role as Dr. Ian Malcolm. Also starring are Bryce Dallas Howard, Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, and Justice Smith.

The plot has been kept under wraps but there have been some hints on what to expect in the movie.

'Til then, we'll wait in eager anticipation for the first trailer, which according to Popculture.com, is likely to be released during screenings of The Last Jedi, which starts from December 14 in Australia.

The next installment of the dinosaur franchise arrives in theaters June 22.
