PM arrives in Istanbul to attend OIC Summit”

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will represent Pakistan at extra-ordinary summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Al-Quds Al-Sharif being held in Istanbul on Wednesday (December 13).

According to the official, Erdogan is following a pattern of behavior he used in 2010 following the MV Mavi Marmara protest ship incident, in which he rode his confrontational approach to Israel to a position of great popularity in the Arab and Muslim world.

The summit will be preceded by the Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting which will be attended by Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is leading the Malaysian delegation to the extraordinary OIC summit in Istanbul. Most OIC members are expected to attend the day-long conference.
