'The Office' Revival at NBC Featuring Old, New Cast - 2018-19 Season

'The Office' Revival at NBC Featuring Old, New Cast - 2018-19 Season”

A new "Office" wouldn't actually be the first attempt at expanding the show's domain: NBC developed a spin-off series, "The Farm", featuring Dwight Schrute (Wilson) returning to his family's farm.

Series star Steve Carell would not be involved in this new installment, which would continue the misadventures of the officemates at the Dunder-Mifflin paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

The network declined to comment on reports that a "The Office" revival is in the works.

The proposed reboot will serve as a continuation of the workplace comedy, returning viewers to Dunder Mifflin's Scranton, PA., branch.

YouTube reportedly plans new paid music streaming service
According to Shaw, the new service may help "appease record-industry executives who have pushed for more revenue from YouTube ". It's not yet clear how the Remix service would differ from Google's existing offerings.

The show starred a host of talented actors and writers, including Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Craig Robinson, Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak, and received 42 Emmy nominations while on air. According to TV Line, NBC has already started the search to find a new boss to lead the ensemble comedy.

NBC is in early negotiations to revive The Office.

Network president Bob Greenblatt has previously said he'd be keen to bring it back if there was interest. "I've talked to Greg [Daniels] four times over the past few years". It's always, 'Maybe someday, but not now.' There is certainly an open invitation, but we don't have anything happening right now.

The decision to move forward with a revival is not terribly surprising given NBC's recent history of reviving Will & Grace and Rosanne. "If he wants to do it, I would do it", he said.
