'This Place Is a Sh*thole' Projected Onto Trump Hotel In Washington, DCā€

It comes amid reports President Trump made a crude comment about allowing immigrants from El Salvador, Haiti and several African countries into the U.S.

An artist projected "shithole" onto the front of Donald Trump's Washington DC hotel overnight. "THIS PLACE IS A SHITHOLE", read successive messages projected over the entrance of the Trump International Hotel in central Washington, according to a video posted on social media.

This isn't the first time that Bell has projected slogans and art work on to Trump's building.

The Post reported that Robin Bell, who posted images Saturday's protest on Twitter, was behind the projection. "(Both of those messages also appear in the most recent projection.) That same month, Bell projected "#SessionsMustGo" and "I thought the KKK was OK until I learned that they smoked pot" on the Department of Justice building, in reference to Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Bell's latest installation is part of a widespread backlash to Trump's comments.

EARLIER THIS WEEK, people were left furious after Donald Trump referred to Haiti and some African nations as "shithole" countries.

Democrats and some Republican lawmakers criticized the president's choice of words and called for him to apologize. Understandably, Trump has taken a lot of criticism for the remark.

In a subsequent tweet, Trump said: "The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used".

"You can not dismiss entire countries and continents as 's***holes, ' whose entire populations, who are not white, are therefore not welcome".
