SpaceX Aims to Finally Launch Falcon Heavy Next Week”

Two days later, Chris Gerbhardt, assistant managing editor, journalist, and writer for @NASASpaceflight, Tweeted out a more official launch date.

The Falcon Heavy is a triple-size version of Falcon 9 which is the frequent flier of SpaceX and it is custom-made for spacecraft that is headed to the planet Mars or the moon.

Falcon Heavy will carry a used Tesla-built Roadster sports auto as a payload and attempt to bring the vehicle into heliocentric orbit as part of the rocket's inaugural test launch.

The demonstration flight of Falcon Heavy will carry a dummy payload, although a simple weight is too boring for Musk. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk says that he is confident that the launch will be successful but remained cautiously optimistic saying that with such heavy duty technology anything can go wrong. It also has three times more engines. From the sound of it, Musk expects the auto to be in orbit around Mars for "millions of years", potentially being discovered at some point in the future by an alien race once our own species has long since died off.

The test had 10 seconds spent at full thrust for protecting the launch pad from the rocket's mass power, although the data gathered came out satisfactory.

SpaceX has said the rocket will be capable of sending humans to Mars (though SpaceX has plans to build a different rocket/spaceship system for Mars travel, called the BFR).

SpaceX has finally set the date for the launch of its eagerly awaited Falcon Heavy rocket.

"He is a serial killer", Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced in a press conference at the CM Secretariat Lahore . The incident led to angry protests in various parts of Kasur that resulted in at least two deaths and several injuries.

According to experts, 92% of the thrust would be enough for the first launch.

The first Falcon Heavy mission will even use two refurbished boosters from previous Falcon 9 missions.

The Falcon Heavy has been in the works for several years now and has seen more than a few delays. Two of them will make a synchronized landing back at Kennedy Space Center.

"Twenty-seven engines are firing simultaneously", Musk said at the March press conference.

The launch can be watched live. Eastern time for the Falcon Heavy liftoff from launch pad 39A.

SpaceX is taking its sweet time preparing for launch. Instead, people are flocking to Florida's Space Coast for the launch (so much so that NASA sold out $195 dollar tickets to a viewing party for the launch with a champagne toast and commemorative glasses) in large part to see what will occur after liftoff: SpaceX will attempt to land all three cores of the enormous rocket's first stage, with two touching down nearly simultaneously on ground-based landing pads, and the center core descending shortly after to land on an autonomous drone ship at sea.

SpaceX will test-fire the rocket's 27 engines at the pad Monday.
